40 year resident of Maple Ridge. Owned and operated a small business for 30 years. Made a career change 5 years ago and started as a Community Outreach Worker with Alouette Addiction Service Society. I am currently the Outreach/Housing Manager and oversee a great team of individuals that have the same passion as I do to support people in this community. I’ve had the great privilege of being raised by loving parents that have had a strong sense of community and feel very grateful to be able to give back to this community. Having just completed my 2 year Non-Profit Management certificate with SFU, I am ready to continue my work within the social sector advocating for those most vulnerable and marginalized people that may not have the loudest voice, but we all deserve to be heard.
