Eileen Dwillies has been a cooking instructor and leading groups on food-oriented journeys since the mid-1970’s. She is the former food editor of Western Living magazine, author of nine cookbooks and a featured chef of Creative Cooking, a TV series. She was, for many years the ‘bread lady’ at the Haney Farmers’ Market.

Currently, Eileen is the Executive Director of the Haney Farmers Market Society and Market Manager for the Haney Farmers Market.
Eileen says “Food is my passion. I like the whole process: planning menus, shopping for wonderful fresh produce, meats and seafood, devising delicious dishes that can be prepared with a minimum of effort, and finally, presenting food that is a visual delight”.

Well known for her bread, Eileen has developed a super quick method that will satisfy any discerning bread lover. As she whisks, stirs and kneads, she will share stories of adventures in her underground restaurant kitchen, on the trail of that perfect croissant and the bumper sticker she put on her van in France.
