|Tamara Williams, Child & Youth Advocate|
Tamara Williams studied Social Work at UFV and graduated in 2007 with a BSW in Child Protection Specialization. Tamara began her social work career with the Ministry of Children and Family Development on the Family services Team here in Maple Ridge. In 2014, Tamara went on to work as a hospitalist social worker for Ridge Meadows Hospital before landing at Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Center where she has been the Child and Youth Advocate since 2016. Tamara practices through a trauma informed lens and is passionate about supporting and empowering children, youth, and families to tap into their inner strengths and resiliencies to help guide them towards their healing path.
|Kristy Rogge, Director of Operations|
Kristy Rogge studied Psychology at SFU and has a Fellowship in Developmental Leadership from United Way. She is a mom of two teenagers and has raised her family here in Maple Ridge for the past 18 years. Working for Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Community Services for over 23 years, Kristy combines her passion for mental health with her deep love of nurturing and developing her staff’s strengths and ideas. Staff satisfaction, strength based leadership and openness are a big focus in her work. Her favourite tools of the trade are an open door policy, a commitment to active listening and a belief that good humour can get you through anything.
