Barbara Morgan led the Women’s AM Members through the very serious subject of Emergency Preparedness in a captivating manner by adding her sense of humour which set us all at ease and better able to absorb the importance of being prepared for a state of emergency, whenever that may occur. Although situations range in severity, Barbara highlighted the significance and community impact we will quite possibly face. By becoming more informed and better prepared, we will all transition through these times much easier and minimize potential suffering. Personal, Community, Neighbourhood and School Plans must all be considered, and of course, we must not forget our pets when it comes to getting ready.
