“From Training Bras to Changing Laws” was Cheryl Ashlie’s approach to keeping the Women’s AM attendees “abreast” of the challenges involved with a woman’s role in politics. Breaking barriers and rising above the judgment women face when in the public eye can be very trying, however, with strength, determination and a passion for the better good, life in politics can be very rewarding and beneficial for the community. Cheryl highlighted female characteristics which are integral for effecting change: by nature, women are multitaskers, have high emotional intelligence, embrace holistic thinking and are compassionate. Women rebuild and we are encouraged to empower the young girls within our circle to get involved and have a voice for issues that impact our world.

By becoming educated and involved, Cheryl is recognized for her accomplishments and dedication in the political field, and audiences are learning that she stands for much more than a nice pair of shoes!
