What is Women’s AM?

Women’s AM is an organization offering busy women in the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows area a forum to meet and a chance to build a base for mutual support and motivation. Founded in 1988, Women’s AM is run by volunteers and led by a volunteer Board of Directors. There is no cost for membership in Women’s AM.

Women’s AM members meet once a month* with women from our community to network both personally and professionally, and to hear great speakers on a wide variety of topics.

Our guest speakers cover a variety of topics including business development, personal growth and health issues.

Attendance at an average meeting is 30+.

*Meetings are not held in July, August and December

Who attends Women’s AM?

Our members are women from the community who enjoy the opportunity to get together and network, and to find out what is happening in the community. Our members include women from all types of businesses.

When are the meetings held?

Meetings are held from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month (except July, August and December).

Meetings begin with a light breakfast followed by round table introductions, where each person can stand up and introduce themselves and their business, followed by breakfast and the speaker’s presentation.

An evening ‘Christmas Party’ event is held each December that includes dinner and a fashion show. Details of this and other events are posted on our Events page as details are available.

Where are the meetings held?

Women’s AM meetings are held at Fraserview Village, located at 22538 – 116th Avenue, in Maple Ridge. Visit our events page for a map showing the meeting location.

How much does membership cost?

There are no annual or monthly membership fees to join Women’s AM. The cost for the morning meetings is $20 and this covers your breakfast and all meeting expenses such as room rental and speaker’s appreciation.
