Kelly moved to Maple Ridge in August of 2006 with her two children (and a few pets) and began the process of creating a new life and career.
With a passion for a healthy, active lifestyle, helping others and becoming more active and healthy seemed like a great fit. The beautiful surroundings in and around Maple Ridge was the ideal place for the project. She studied and completed Personal Training certifications, was accepted into the Self-Employment Program at Douglas College and launched her business in August of 2008. The name “Love Your Workout, Health & Fitness” captured the essence of what she wanted to help people move towards in their own lives.
During the next eight years, Kelly operated her business through various recreation centres and private fitness clubs, in-home training sessions and Nordic Walking classes. On April 1st, 2016, Kelly opened her own private studio.
Over the years, many clients have joined the “Love Your Workout” family and have become active and fit. They’ve improved their nutrition habits and quality of life. Kelly welcomes the opportunity to support anyone who feels ready to make a change in lifestyle, whether it is something small or a major overhaul.
Creativity is a must when it comes to keeping workouts fun, interesting and motivational.
